I recently got the Desperate Measures CD/DVD. The CD features 2 new studio recordings from the band which are really good. Then there are the cover songs which are;
"Shout at the Devil" (Mötley Crüe cover)
"Immigrant Song" (Led Zeppelin cover)
"Bad Town" (Operation Ivy cover)
these aren't bad either but not my type of thing.
Then there are 6 live recordings but these are songs from Swan Songs, but they are still excellent. Finally the Castle Renholdër Mix of the fan favourite "Everywhere I Go" which is basically more drums and guitar but is still a brilliant track.
Now onto the DVD, this Live footage shot on two different nights they performed at two different places. The Live footage is amazing and they put on a really good show. They also take off their mask as i said in a previous posting about Desperate Measures, and i think they remove their mask just because everyone already knows what they look like but they put their masks back on for the last song.
If you like this band and haven't seen them live in person then i would recommend getting this as it is just an amazing piece of work.

Lyrical Content
One of the main reasons why Hollywood Undead are so big is because of their lyrical content. Their lyrical content ranges from self harming, the loss of a loved one, partying, women, family, friends, their home city of Los Angeles and tattoos.
As i said in my first posting they went to a Record Label that let them do the album they wanted and not censor any of it, as they wanted to give the fans what they were already used to.

Desperate Measures
On the 10 November Hollywood Undead released the CD/DVD combo "Desperate Measures".
This combo contains three new songs, three cover songs, a remix of "Everywhere I Go"(from Swan Songs), and six live versions of previously released tracks along with a 60 minute long DVD of live performances.
As I said in my first posting Hollywood Undead wear masks, but for this DVD they didn't wear mask for the performance. I don't know why they didn't wear their masks but I guess it was because everyone who is a major fan of the band has seen pictures on the internet of them without their masks.
